CA+T's Website Wins AVA Digital Award!

UX designer and CA+T strategic partner Behavior Design earns award for excellence in the creative convergence of digital arts, technology, and information.
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 13, 2014) -- The Center for Art and Thought (CA+T) is thrilled to share the news that Behavior Design, UX designer and CA+T strategic partner, has been honored with an AVA Digital Award for the production and design of CA+T's website.
Founded in 1994 as a celebration of the audio-visual arts, AVA Digital Awards is an international competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design, and production of media that is part of the evolution of digital communication. The awards are sponsored and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), an international organization comprised of several thousand production, marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, and free-lance professionals.
CA+T's website was among the approximately 2,100 entries from around the world in this year's competition. Entrants included digital professionals from audio, video and film production companies, web developers, advertising agencies, corporate and government communication departments, and various independent creative professionals. The judges of the awards are industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.
A premier provider of new media design and strategy solutions, Behavior Design has collaborated with CA+T since 2011 to realize a compelling online user experience for the organization and to support CA+T's ambitious mission. Behavior Design worked closely with CA+T's Executive Director and core staff to develop a new space for content curation, exploration, and dialogue. Behavior’s innovative format for CA+T’s website enables a virtual experience in which forms of expression within both art and scholarship (i.e., video, image, text) intermix in a thoughtful and seamless way.
